Quality Control
Like any other product, translation and editing (proofreading) should meet certain quality standards. I have developed the special translation quality control system that is applied to all of the projects I complete. Translation quality assurance is subject to the following principles:
1. I stick to the “jointless translation” principle. It means that when reading a translation a person shouldn’t know that he’s reading a translation. A translated text should read like an original.
2. My rates aren’t prohibitive. Of course, you can find lower prices than mine, but it just means that the quality of such a translation won’t be that high. It’s not hard to find rates higher than mine, but it doesn’t mean that the quality of my translation will be lower. This fact may be confirmed by my numerous clients, the count being over hundred already.
3. My prices are fixed. It means that a customer is able to make his/her budget accurate within one cent. When you ask me about my rates, you won’t hear that “my rates may vary depending on difficulty of your text.” Certainly, difficulty differs, but I don’t want it to be my customer’s problem. You can calculate the budget for your project right on the website.
4. I offer online services of Emergency translation. These services will be of special use for translation agencies with tight deadlines. The process of ordering is extremely simple, you can order an urgent translation with a couple of mouse clicks; and it will shorten the time it takes for you to get the completed translation
5. Methods of payment are quite different, from Moneybookers to bank transfer. Thus, every customer may choose the most convenient method.
6. I GUARANTEE proper quality of my translation. In the event that a client reasonably considers the quality of my translation to be improper, I am ready to reimburse up to 100% of project value. (Actually, I’ve never had such a situation during my translation activity.)
7. Every translation is thoroughly proofread before delivery. Editing and proofreading are a very important part of the translation process, so a customer gets the translation that is ready for publication or any other use.
